A handsome low, broad-leaf grass with lush dark green summer leaves and small flower spikes in summer once established.

Luzula sylvatica 'Tauernpass' is an excellent choice for a position in partial or even heavy shade and does very well as ground cover under larger shrubs or trees in dappled light.

Position: light, dappled shade, partial shade or heavy shade.
Soil: Moist fertile soil. (avoid waterlogged areas)
Hardiness: Hardy.
Rate of Growth: Moderate.
Habit: Luzula sylvatica 'Tauernpass' is spreading groundcover grass.
