(Kashmir False Spiraea) A lovely large, spreading shrub native to the Himalayas which bears splendid long plumes of creamy-white flowers in early summer. The leaves are dark green and fern-like, amongst the first to appear in early spring and they are not damaged by late frosts.
Sorbaria tomentosa var. angustifolia is an unusual garden plant, excellent as ground cover in sun or shade. Can be cut back hard if required and does well in a large container.
