A lovely large, spreading shrub native to the Himalayas which bears splendid plumes of creamy-white flowers in early summer. Sorbaria tomentosa var. angustifolia has dark green, fern-like leaves which are amongst the first to appear in early spring and are not damaged by late frosts.
Sorbaria tomentosa var. angustifolia is an unusual and handsome garden plant, excellent as ground cover in woodland areas or shady borders.
