Polystichum neolobatum is a very handsome fern native to parts of Asia including China and Japan, which is evergreen with glossy dark green narrow fronds with bristly stems.

Best in a position in light dappled or heavy shade. It can also be grown very successfully in a container, provided it is in a shady position.
