Clematis armandii 'Apple Blossom'

A small to medium sized evergreen climber with masses of fragrant pale pink to white flowers each spring. The leaves are glossy, dark green with the young foliage tinged bronze in Spring.

A lovely climber for a warm and sheltered position in sun or dappled shade. 

• Position: Full sun or light shade. Avoid planting in cold, windy areas.
• Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Somewhat hardy. May suffer foliage damage and possibly some die-back during severe winters. May require protection.
• Flowering Period: April - May.
• Flower Colour: Pink-white
• Rate of Growth: Moderate.
• Habit: Small, scrambling Clematis.
  • Height: up to 5 - 6 m (16 - 20 ft)
  • Spread: 3 - 4 m (10 - 13 ft)

• Pruning: Not normally much pruning required - trim any damaged stems back to a healthy bud.
