An unusual, small deciduous tree with fascinating leaves which can be found growing in the wild in the southern and central United States. Quercus marilandica has long leaves which typically flare from a tapered base to a broad three-lobed bell shape.
These leaves are dark green in spring / summer and in a good, crisp autumn will develop lovely golden-brown autumn tints before falling. Mature plants develop an attractive, furrowed bark.
