A spectacular and rare species, Magnolia wilsonii has pendulous downwards facing, white, fragrant flowers with dark crimson centres in midsummer. When established it can have masses of flowers and create a very dramatic effect!
Most attractive when planted in a lightly shaded, slightly raised situation from where the overhanging flowers can be best appreciated!
