(Yunnan Holly Fern) Polystichum yunnanense is a rare medium sized fern native to China with striking young fronds, initially covered with fawn coloured scales as they unfurl, dark green with dissected fronds once mature. Ideal for a garden position in light dappled or heavy shade.

It can also be grown very successfully in a container, provided it is in a shady position.
