An attractive medium sized shrub with lush green leaves and flattened heads of silvery-lilac or superb blue flowers according to the soil pH (pink or purple in neutral or alkaline soils).

This is the only Hydrangea common in cultivation which has the distinctive globular flowers.

Lovely and easy to grow, Hydrangea macrophylla 'Ayesha' is suitable for most gardens or woodland areas!

Please be aware that the water supply on our nursery is alkaline and frequently our blue flowering Hydrangea varieties will have pinkish or purple flowers when they arrive with you, despite having been grown here in an acidic compost.

This colour will continue for several months after planting before changing to reflect the new soil conditions in your garden.
