Acer x conspicuum 'Red Flamingo'

A colourful large shrub or eventually very small, branching tree with deep red young shoots striped with white, sinuous lines once mature. The leaves emerge mottled with attractive pink variegation in spring. As the year progresses, the leaf variegation turns to a slightly darker pink and white, which stands out well on the otherwise green leaves.

With its colourful winter bark and exciting leaves this makes an eye-catching garden plant suitable for sun or dappled shade. Can be grown in a large container.
