Mahonia x media 'Winter Sun'

A popular selection of Mahonia which grows to be a densely branching medium sized or eventually large shrub with elegant deep green leaves and striking, large racemes of fragrant, yellow flowers in midwinter.

These colourful flowers are extremely eye-catching in the winter months and are followed by small, ornamental purple berries.

An excellent, tough evergreen plant for sun or shady spot and much valued for its winter interest! Can be grown in a large container.
