New to us, Hydrangea paniculata 'Wim's Red' is a handsome medium sized shrub with large creamy-white flower heads developing in mid summer which turn pink and then gradually dark wine-red (in a hot summer/autumn).

best suited to a position with plenty of sun. For best flower display cut back hard in March each year..

• Pruning: Prune Hydrangea paniculata 'Wim's Red' back to a bud, 30 - 40 cm above the ground each March. This will keep the plant from getting to large and increase the size of the flower heads.
