Betula albosinensis 'Red Panda'

A handsome and unusual Chinese birch, Betula albosinensis 'Red Panda' grows with good vigour to be a medium sized, slender tree with lovely peeling, orange-red bark once established.

A hardy tree, the bark of Betula albosinensis 'Red Panda' takes a few years to really colour up well but is worth the wait and in our experience the orange-red bark usually looks best in a sunny position.
