New to us, Betula utilis 'China Bronze' has attractive dark bronze to orange-red bark once established and an arching, slightly pendulous habit. Grows with good vigour in our arboretum.

Best bark colour will be seen in a sunny, open position. Avoid planting in areas prone to sitting wet over winter or waterlogging.

  • Rate of Growth: Moderate to vigorous.
