Betula utilis 'Polar Bear' is an unusual, strong growing selection of birch with thick, heavy-limbed branches and a pure-white trunk and branches once established.

Very handsome specimen tree with striking bark once established.

Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
Soil: Any fertile soil.
Hardiness: Hardy.
Rate of Growth: Moderate.
Habit: Medium sized, branching tree.
