An unusual cultivar first collected in Western Szechuan province in China, Betula albosinensis 'Bowling Green' has lovely, rich honey-coloured bark when mature which peels in long, creamy strips. The leaves are green in spring and summer, turning attractive shades of yellow before falling in autumn. A showy garden tree!
