Description

Information Only - A lovely but misleadingly named holly, Ilex x altaclerensis 'Golden King' is actually a female holly with golden-variegated, dark green leaves and dark red berries if pollinated by a male holly. The golden variegation is eye-catching and makes this form an excellent choice of shrub for giving some winter interest to a mixed border. Ilex x altaclerensis 'Golden King' can also be planted as an unusual and colourful hedge!
