Heuchera 'Apple Crisp'

New to us, this is a very handsome, low growing evergreen perennial which has bright green, ruffled leaves. Sprays of creamy-white flowers appear above the leaves in late spring and early summer.

Best in a position with dappled to fairly heavy shade. Grows well in a large container.

• Position: Can tolerate some sun but usually prefers dappled or partial shade.
• Soil: Moist but well drained soil. Will tolerate dry shade under deciduous trees. Avoid waterlogged soil.
• Hardiness: Hardy.
• Flowering Period: May - June
• Rate of Growth: Slow to moderate.
• Habit: Heuchera 'Apple Crisp'  grows to be a low, mound forming perennial.
