A rare tree native to parts of Eastern China, Tilia miqueliana has clusters of scented flower in mid to late summer and dark green, ovate (egg-shaped) leaves. The fresh shoots and leaves are covered with grey felt.
Tilia miqueliana is a distinctive and slow growing tree, often seen growing near or around Japanese temples. Not a plant for instant gratification.
