Description

A handsome selection, Cornus kousa 'Weisse Fountaine' has huge number of white flower bracts once established which although not weeping, weigh down the branches and give an elegantly pendulous habit. The bracts are most attractive in early summer and are followed by strawberry-like fruits in autumn. The leaves are dark green in summer and turn pretty shades of red/orange in autumn before falling.

Cornus kousa 'Weisse Fountaine' grows to be a large shrub or eventually very small tree and flowers best in a position with full sun and a little space in which the attractive habit can fully develop.
