A superb medium sized, deciduous shrub native to parts of China which is known for its clusters of scented, pure white flowers which appear on the branches in winter.

The spring and summer leaves are dark green in colour with yellow and bronze tints before they fall in autumn.

An excellent choice of shrub for a winter garden!
