(Noble Lime) Rarely seen in the UK, Tilia nobilis is a small to medium sized tree native to parts of China and has large with large, somewhat rounded leaves. Greenish-white flowers in early to mid summer are followed by sizable fruit (for a Lime) later in the year

Most suited for a sunny position with shelter from strong wind.

Position: Full sun.
Soil: Moist or well drained, fertile soil.
Hardiness: Reasonably hardy. Tilia nobilis prefers shelter from strong winds.
Flowering Period: June-July.
