A very rare and beautiful tree which has only recently been introduced from China, Tilia tuan var chinensis has much more narrow leaves than other limes and when mature develops an attractive, peeling bark.

Tilia tuan var chinensis also has beautiful, creamy white and slightly fleshy flowers when established in mid summer. An excellent choice for an unusual garden tree.
