A spectacular shrub, Pyracantha 'Knaphill Lemon' has waves of hawthorn-like flowers in early summer, followed by a profusion of clear lemon-yellow berries in late autumn and winter.

The bright yellow berries stand out well against the dark green leaves and unlike the orange fruit of Pyracantha 'Alexander Pendula' are not that popular with birds, often only eaten as a last resort unless the weather is particularly harsh, meaning that the berries are comparatively long lasting.
