Morus nigra is a large shrub or eventually small tree which produces many delicious, dark-red fruit in mid to late summer and assumes a striking, gnarled habit once mature. Lush dark green summer leaves.

The fruit are juicy, with a good flavour and can be used to make all sorts of tasty desserts although as a general rule of thumb, they must be used as soon as they are ripe as the fruit do not store well under most circumstances.

Morus nigra is a productive ornamental tree with a good architectural habit!
