New to us, this is a compact evergreen shrub with dainty dark green leaves and spikes of vibrant orange-red flowers in late summer and autumn. The leaflets are quite slender and eye-catching in their own right.

Enjoys sun or partial shade with a little shelter from strong winds.

Position: Full sun or shade.
Soil: Any reasonably well drained soil.
Hardiness: Hardy.
Flowering Period: August - November.
