A splendid ground covering selection, Mahonia aquifolium 'Apollo'  has dense clusters of yellow flowers in spring and dark green summer leaves (with bronze/red tints in winter).

It is slow growing, reaching a height of approx about 18" to 2' feet high and is equally happy in full sun or shade.
