An unusual clump forming perennial, Libertia procera has lance-shaped green leaves and spikes of handsome pure white flowers in late spring and early summer.

Best display of flowers once established if planted in a sheltered position away from strong winds.


  • Position: Sun or light, dappled shade.
  • Soil: Moist but well drained soil. Avoid very wet areas prone to waterlogging.
  • Hardiness: Reasonably hardy. Not suited for cold, exposed gardens - prefers mild areas.
