A popular and beautiful, deciduous small tree once established with masses of golden yellow, wisteria-like, trailing flowers in spring (up to 50 - 60 cm long).

These colourful flowers are particularly eye-catching when the tree is grown against a dark backdrop. The flowers are followed by interesting, ornamental seed pods in autumn. Green summer leaves with bronze and yellow tints in autumn before falling.

Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
Hardiness: Hardy.
Flowering Period: May - June.
Rate of Growth: Slow initially and then moderate.
Habit: Laburnum x watereri 'Vossii' grows to be a small tree with a branching, rounded crown.
- Height: up to 8 m (26 ft)
- Spread: 6 m (20 ft).

Notes: All parts of Laburnum x watereri 'Vossii', including the flowers and seed pods are toxic and should not be eaten! This plant is a hybrid between Laburnum alpinum and Laburnum anagyroides.
