A popular and beautiful, deciduous small tree once established with masses of golden yellow, wisteria-like, trailing flowers in spring (up to 50 - 60 cm long).

These colourful flowers are particularly eye-catching when the tree is grown against a dark backdrop. The flowers are followed by interesting, ornamental seed pods in autumn. Green summer leaves with bronze and yellow tints in autumn before falling.

  • Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
