An excellent foliage plant for damp conditions, Hosta 'Halcyon' has thick, crinkle-veined and glaucous grey-blue leaves up to 20 cm long, produced in a tight clump. The tough leaves are less appetizing to slugs, and consequently suffer less damage than many others. Spikes of mauve flowers 45 cm high appear in midsummer.
