Deutzia ningpoensis is a rare and beautiful shrub native to China with panicles of white flowers along the branches in mid summer. The leaves are narrow and grey-green in colour. Also known as Deutzia chunii.
Most suited for a position sheltered from cold wind in sun or light, dappled shade.
- Position: Full Sun or light, dappled shade.
- Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
- Hardiness: Hardy. Requires a warm, sheltered position - avoid cold, windy areas.
- Flowering Period: July.
