Coprosma 'Purple Haze'

An unusual, small or eventually medium sized evergreen shrub with dark green young growth, gradually turning a lovely dusky dark purple-green later on in the summer.

Although evergreen the leaves can develop orange or purple tints in the winter.

A beautiful foliage plant growing to be a small shrub, ideal for warm and sunny, sheltered gardens. Can be grown in a large pot if required.

• Position: Sheltered in full sun.
• Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Frost tender. This plant requires protection from cold winter winds and is most suitable to warm, south or west facing gardens. Avoid planting in cold, wet, exposed areas. May loose some leaves in cold winters.
• Rate of Growth: Slow.
• Habit: Small, rounded, branching shrub.
