(Soft Tree Fern) Native to Eastern Australia, this is a beautiful slow growing tree fern with impressively long, deeply divided dark green fronds once established.

This fern gradually develops a trunk but it does take some years and is not for instant gratification.

Dicksonia antarctica is best suited to damp, sheltered areas in a shady garden.

Habit: Dicksonia antarctica grows to be a tree fern with a trunk and crown of fronds once mature.
