Sold Out - A tough, useful and evergreen, ground cover plant, Euonymus fortunei var coloratus has a dense growing habit and forms a sprawling, thick, bushy mat. It has lustrous, dark green leaves which develop purple and orange tints (shown in the photo above) in autumn and winter.

Euonymus fortunei var. coloratus is a versatile plant good as ground cover and ideal for growing as on slopes, where it can help control erosion or in shaded areas.

  • Notes: Euonymus fortunei var. coloratus is best planted in areas with plenty of available space in which it can spread. If keeping this plant confined to a smaller space, new growth and shoots should be dug up and removed each year to restrict the spread.
