Trachelospermum jasminoides 'Star of Toscana'

A reasonably vigorous, evergreen, twining climber with dark green leaves and sweetly scented pale creamy-yellow flowers in mid to late summer.

An excellent climber for growing up trellis or wires against a sunny fence or wall, ideally in a position sheltered from strong winds.

• Position: Sheltered in full sun or light, dappled shade.
• Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Somewhat hardy. Trachelospermum jasminoides 'Star of Toscana' requires shelter from cold winter wind and protection from severe frosts. Can be damaged by severe cold.
• Flowering Period: July - August.
• Rate of Growth: Moderate to vigorous.
• Habit: Trachelospermum jasminoides 'Star of Toscana'  grows to be a medium sized climbing plant which requires support as it will not self-cling.
