A handsome clump-forming perennial, Rodgersia aesculifolia has striking large green leaves with tall spikes of white or pale pink flowers in mid summer. The leaves are horse chestnut-like in appearance.
Particularly attractive when planted in a sun or partial shade next to streams or ponds or in a damp area. A good companion plant for ferns and Hostas.
