A large majestic tree, Quercus robur has dark green leaves and acorns in the autumn once established. Mature trees are an excellent habitat for insects and other wildlife.

A superb tree for windbreaks, shelter belts and woodland planting.

Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
Soil: Any fertile soil.
Hardiness: Hardy.
Rate of Growth: Moderate to vigorous.
Habit: Quercus robur grows to be a large branching tree once mature.
