A rare, upright tree native to the eastern Mediterranean region, Malus trilobata has attractive white flowers in spring followed by green-flushed red fruit with a pleasing, pear-like taste in autumn.The distinctive, three lobed, maple-like leaves are deep green in spring and summer and develop vibrant and eye-catching, red autumn colour.

Slow growing when young but a superb, slender ornamental tree once established. Best flowers and autumn colour if planted in a position with plenty of sun.
