(Oregon grape) A hardy medium sized evergreen shrub with dark green, leathery leaves and young shoots which are a bright coppery-orange in colour when they emerge in Spring and early summer.

Showy clusters of bright yellow flowers appear on the branches in late winter and the leaves will develop red and orange tints during or after cold winter weather.

A tough hardy shrub with year round interest. Can be grown well in a large container.
