Hydrangea quercifolia 'Ice Crystal'

New to us, this is a compact small or eventually, medium sized deciduous shrub with unusual, deeply cut dark green leaves which turn vibrant shades of red and purple in autumn. handsome, conical white flower heads develop in summer. Very suitable for a position in sun or light shade and ideal for gardens with limited space.

Although tolerant of plenty of shade, this will flower best and develop more vivid autumn colours in a reasonably sunny spot.

Can be grown in a large container if required.
