This fascinating medium sized, evergreen shrub is named after one of the owners of Bluebell Nursery, Suzette Vernon and has aromatic, cream variegated leaves and dark, purple-red stems.
Very slow growing and most suited to a position in sun or dappled shade with shelter from strong winds.

This fascinating cultivar is named after one of the owners of Bluebell Nursery, Suzette Vernon and has aromatic, cream variegated leaves and dark, purple-red stems.
The cream variegation is very pretty, appearing almost as though the dark green leaves have been splashed with a creamy-yellow paint. Drimys lanceolata 'Suzette' also has pretty, white flowers in April and May.
