(Dwarf Hawthorn) A rare, dwarf, slow growing and upright selection of Hawthorn, Crataegus monogyna 'Compacta' has masses of fine, white flowers in spring and clusters of red berries in the autumn. Once established it has a very strong, architectural shape which is interesting in its own right once the leaves have fallen in autumn.

Like all hawthorn, the fruit encourage wildlife, particularly insects and birds and the small size makes it very suitable for growing in smaller gardens or even in large containers!
