Corylus 'Webb's Prize Cobb' is a reliable, English cultivar, producing large clusters of tasty, pale brown nuts. If planting this hazel as part of a 'nuttery', space out the hazelnut trees at 4 m (13 ft) apart.

Ideally, two or more different hazelnut cultivars should be planted near each other for better pollination and increased nut production.

  • Flowering Period: January to March (Catkins).
  • Rate of Growth: Moderate to vigorous.
