A new introduction, Cornus 'ShiraYuki' has delicate white and pale green variegated leaves with pink autumn colour and once established, white star-shaped bracts followed by red and orange fruit in late summer. 

Cornus 'ShiraYuki' is an unusual, medium sized garden shrub which can also be grown in a large container for a number of years if required. Enjoys light, dappled shade.


  • Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
  • Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy

  • Rate of Growth: Slow to moderate.
  • Habit: Cornus 'ShiraYuki' grows to be a medium sized or eventually large, upright shrub.

  • Notes: The flowering of Cornus 'ShiraYuki' is somewhat dependant upon the previous years summer weather. After a long hot summer, the following years flowering will be magnificent and after a cold, wet summer the following years flowering will be poor or sporadic.
