An unusual selection of Himalayan Cedar, Cedrus deodara 'Bush´s Electra' has bright, silvery-blue needles which makes it particularly eye-catching against a dark backdrop.

Cedrus deodara 'Bush´s Electra' is generally a little slower growing than the classic Cedrus deodara and will grow in time to be a conical, small or eventually medium sized tree.


  • Position: Full sun.
  • Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy. Cedrus deodara 'Bush´s Electra' appreciates shelter from strong, cold winter winds.
  • Rate of Growth: Slow to moderate.
  • Habit: Cedrus deodara 'Bush´s Electra'  eventually grows to be a conical, small to medium sized tree.
    • Height: 10 - 15 m (32 - 45 ft).
    • Spread: 3 - 4 m (10 - 13 ft).
  • Notes: Cedrus deodara 'Bush´s Electra' is initially slow growing. After one or two years, once established, it starts to grow at a more vigorous rate.
