Carpinus omeiensis is an exceptionally rare small tree native to Sichuan in China which has narrow, pointed, veined leaves, tinted bronze-purple in spring turning dark green later in summer. Develops a very graceful arching habit with semi-weeping branches once established.

Best in a position with sun or light dappled shade with plenty of shelter from cold wind..
