New to us, this is a magnificent evergreen, clump forming grass with long, arching green and gold variegated leaves. Tall spikes of bronze coloured flower heads appear above the leaves in summer.
Most suitable for a position in dappled shade and damp but well drained soil.
- Position: Best in dappled to partial shade.
- Soil: Most fertile soil. Enjoys damp but free draining soil.
- Hardiness: Reasonably hardy. Best with shelter from wind. May require winter protection in severe winters.
