Camellia sasanqua 'Yuletide'

A stunning evergreen shrub with dark green leaves and masses of vivid crimson-red flowers with yellow anthers in autumn and early winter. An excellent choice for sun or partial shade. Grows well in a large container.

• Position: Full sun or shade.
• Soil: Neutral or preferably acid soil. In chalky areas this can be grown in a large container with ericaceous compost.
• Hardiness: Reasonably hardy but requires shelter from strong winds. 
• Flowering Period: November - January.
• Rate of Growth: Slow to moderate.
• Habit: Camellia sasanqua 'Yuletide'  grows to be a medium sized or eventually large shrub.
