Callicarpa bodinieri 'Magical Snow Queen'

New to us, this is a stunning small or eventualyl medium sized shrub with pinkish-white summer flowers followed by huge clusters of ivory-white berries on the stem in autumn. The mid green summer leaves turn shades of yellow and bronze in autumn before falling.

Usually has best display of flowers and fruit once established in a reasonably sunny position. Can be grown well in a large container.

• Position: Sun or partial shade.
• Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
• Hardiness:  Hardy. Callicarpa will establish itself better in a warm garden with a little shelter from strong winds.
• Flowering Period: July.
• Flower Colour: Pale pink
• Rate of Growth: Moderate.
• Habit: Callicarpa bodinieri 'Magical Snow Queen' grows to be a small to medium sized, branching shrub.
