A rare small tree native to the United States, Aesculus neglecta 'Erythroblastos' has young leaves in spring which are shrimp-pink in colour, turning lime green later in the year. These colourful leaves are complimented by attractive spikes of creamy-yellow flowers in late spring.

Aesculus neglecta 'Erythroblastos' is an excellent plant for spring interest and a lovely small garden tree.

  • Hardiness: Hardy. Ideally plant Aesculus neglecta 'Erythroblastos' in a position sheltered from strong winds for the best display of spring leaf colour.
