Acer palmatum 'Osakazuki'

Acer palmatum 'Osakazuki' is one of our favourite maples and grows to be a stunning large shrub or small tree with stunning bright red and orange autumn colour.

The lush dark green summer leaves turn some of the best shades of bright red and orange of any maple in autumn before falling.

Fantastic as a garden plant in sun or dappled shade and also grows well in a large container.

• Position: Full sun or partial shade.
• Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Hardy. Acer palmatum 'Osakazuki' will grow best when planted in an area sheltered from strong winds.
• Rate of Growth: Moderate.
• Habit: Acer palmatum 'Osakazuki' will grow to be a large shrub or small branching tree in time with a rounded habit.
